This series of digital films brings to light the “visual essence” of a train journey in an abstract way. The aim is to give the audience a moment of pause, a visual oasis in the midst of hectic everyday life.

Each film consists of a single shot from the train, which has been multiplied, sequenced and layered on top of each other. The trains speed and the landscape define the rhythm of each film. The intricate changes of shapes and rhythms, the voice of our visual surroundings.
